What does sustainability look like when it becomes part of everyday hotel operations?

Travelife Certification is not about ticking boxes and then moving on. It’s about genuine commitment, practical action and continuous improvement.

Through Travelife Certification, sustainability moves beyond policies, data and activities. On-site verification helps ensure that the actions, commitments and claims hotels make translate into real, measurable practices, while providing a framework to strengthen operations, mitigate risk, build credibility and create better places to live, work and visit.

In a recent Thought Leadership Interview Carolyn Wincer, Travelife Managing Director, explains that hotels are an important part of the communities and destinations in which they operate. When they make meaningful progress on sustainability, the benefits can extend well beyond the property, supporting local communities, protecting natural resources and helping to create more resilient and attractive destinations for visitors.
