New Show: Friday 1st October
MADMADMAD () + Special Guests

Join us for a night with MADMADMAD whose alien party live sets have garnered attention from the likes of Erol Alkan and Gilles Peterson, performing a new live set oozing with dance bass lines, spiky guitars riffs, and fizzing drums. Shaped by the mutant sounds of 70’s no-wave, post-punk, and disco. Special guests to be announced.

New Display: 'Safe Places' by Lily Lewis in the Artist Room at The Columbia from 9th August.

We are delighted to present Lily Lewis' works on display, curated by Roman Road’s creative director Marisa Bellani ().

In collaboration with , Lewis' works are now available to view in our Artist Room from today.

The works on display comprise six figurative surrealist works, illustrating vignettes of actors and actresses faces; individuals specifically selected by Lewis whom each experienced domestic abuse, sexual assault, racism or homophobia during their careers in the Golden Age of cinema.

Lewis aims to leave us questioning the character behind the masculine and feminine identity, with her abstract and structural form of work.

Please email [email protected] to receive the full list of available works.

Artist Spotlight: POiSON ANNA

Introducing POiSON ANNA (), a 23-year-old British-Czech artist and exciting new force in UK experimental hip-hop.

Having collaborated with the likes of Dean Blunt and A$AP Rocky (), the multi-disciplinary artist's stunning debut mixtape 'EXELSiA' (released via ) explores resolving pain and healing.

"Created with regular collaborator Mobbs, and mixed by Jake Gordon (J Hus, Skepta, Burna Boy), the seven-song collection reflects on ideas of identity and self-discovery in the context of widespread misinformation and systemic oppression. And this dystopian feel is reflected not just in the abrasive musical palette, but in the striking visuals that have accompanied the singles “FAiNT” and “COMiN FOR YA”." -

We are very excited for POiSON ANNA’s first ever live show performance which will take place in The Live Room at The Columbia on Thursday 19th August.
