🧐 Let's start Friday with a fascinating fact about our history: During the Second World War, our hotel played an important role in London's wartime response.

On the 12th of November 1940, a German bomb hit Sloane Square Underground Station, and due to our hotel's immediate proximity, the basement was transformed into an emergency triage centre to treat casualties.

This demonstrated our building's adaptability during one of London's most challenging and devastating periods in history.

Although the surrounding area sustained significant bomb damage, our hotel (then named the Royal Court Hotel) survived and continued operating after the conflict.
