Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Winnie the Pooh with Fortnum and Mason.

Did you know, on their Piccadilly rooftop since 2008, there are four beehives standing at six feet high, almost twice the height of a normal beehive, each with a distinct triumphal arch entrance designed in a different architectural style – Roman, Mughal, Chinese and Gothic. Now you can see bee installations on the front of the world famous London store and in St Pancras International.

Over the last 15 years the bees have been busy producing honey so delicious that there's a waiting list for their produce. The honey, called simply Piccadilly London Honey, varies from year to year, depending on the flora available to the bees journeys through London’s nearby parks and gardens, including Buckingham Palace, Clarence House, Hyde Park and Green Park.

Last seen buzzing over the famous facade of our Piccadilly store and our beehive installation at St. Pancras International, Fortnum & Mason are delighted to be auctioning a selection of oversized golden bees to raise money for the British Beekeepers Association. Each bee is individually numbered, and certain to become a treasured heirloom.

Followed by The Dragon Boat Race 5pm to 9pm – up to 22 teams consisting of 16 rowers and a drummer go head to head in traditional Chinese Dragon Boats over a 100m course. Pirates, drag queens and Minions have taken part in previous events.

July in London is busy, busy, busy. 2 days into BST in Hydepark last night saw South Korean K-pop band ATEEZ make its BST debut, bringing to London a unique musical experience blending hip hop, electronic trap and pop with the group's signature cinematic performances.

To come - headline acts include global sensation Maroon 5 (3 July), West London folk-rock favourites Mumford & Sons (4 July), legendary British band Duran Duran (5 July), and Lewis Capaldi, making his return to the stage (11-12 July).
Pitbull (10 July), is also set to take over Hyde Park, so expect to see an ocean of Mr Worldwide look-alikes
