We are incredibly proud to celebrate Polina Kadilnikova, recipient of The Mandrake Scholarship, following her presentation at the Central Saint Martins BA Fashion show and her win of the L’Oréal Professionnel Young Talent Award.

When we created The Mandrake Scholarship, our intention was to support emerging creatives at a defining moment in their journey and help protect the space needed for bold, uncompromising vision to develop.

To see Polina’s work recognised with one of the evening’s highest honours is an extraordinary achievement and a deeply deserved one.

Jurema Terrace, our open-air sanctuary suspended above Fitzrovia, where jasmine, passionflower and ethnobotanical cocktails meet Eastern Mediterranean dining.

To mark the opening, London-based fashion designer created bespoke staff uniforms paired with footwear, bringing together sculptural construction, sensuality and urban precision in true Mandrake spirit.

Here’s a glimpse of how The Mandrake does Halloween. Are you ready for this year?

This Halloween, The Mandrake celebrates Samhain, long before Halloween, the Celts marked this time as the turning of the seasons, when summer ended, winter began, and the veil between worlds grew thin.
Fires burned, spirits stirred, and rituals honoured the dead.

Our dress code this year is ‘Children of the Forest’ and you are invited to embody the wild, the untamed and the ancient.

Expect a full immersive experience with performances, spellbinding DJs, and a night where reality blurs into myth.

Announcing our last artist in residence of the year, Martin Eder will resonate with the colder and darker months.

From 10th December, the internationally acclaimed Berlin-based painter will be creating a new painting inspired by Bram Stoker’s seminal novel, Dracula using the hotel’s gothic features as a backdrop.

Eder’s work will explore the mysterious character of the hotel, blending it with his own distinctive anti-conformist style and the dark romantic cultural themes that run through this cult narrative.

𝔏𝔲𝔠𝔶
Haunted by the character of Lucy Westenra, Martin Eder explores the connections between this vampiric Victorian figure and the modern gothic woman.

How can we uncover the echoes between these two female archetypes: their shared struggles, their quest for resolution, and their navigation through the complexities of humanity?

What might contemporary women find in Lucy’s battle to reconcile personal desires with societal conventions? What empowerment can be drawn from this reflection, and how might the artist’s work contribute to the evolution of this hard-won privilege?
