Barmy Badger Backpackers The Barmy Badger is a small, friendly Backpackers hostel in Earls Court. The Badger is unique in that we are the only hostel in London that has dogs!

Since opening it's doors in 1997, the Badger has been a home away from home for travellers, be it for one night or for months! The owners bring their dogs (Tinka and Malarkey) into work 3 days a week. Accommodation comprises of dorms that sleep 6 or 4 people, plus twin and double rooms. The price includes FREE breakfast, FREE 100 mgb WiFi and all day tea and coffee. ALL dorms have a personal large

locker with a laptop safe and the twin/double rooms have a laptop safe as well. There is a fully equipped kitchen, tv room with cable tv and book exchange, back garden with a bbq, 24 hour hot showers, laundry and luggage storage.

Last dorm and en-suite will be finshed next week!!! After that, one or two of the boys will be staying on to do the extra touches. My list is growing though.... It's perfect timing as April is when we start getting busier.

First part of the renovations start tomorrow. 2 new bathrooms and an overhaul of two 6 bed dorms so that one becomes a female only dorm. The rest we will do in August when we make some more money!

Today is our 26th Anniversary of opening!!!

We have been busy little bees at the Badger! Every bed has new mattresses, pillows, duvets and sheets. All the lockers...

We have been busy little bees at the Badger! Every bed has new mattresses, pillows, duvets and sheets. All the lockers have been painted and the new lino has been laid in the kitchen and downstairs. We just have a few more things to do renovation wise and hopefully we will make enough money to put in a new kitchen in August and 2 new bathrooms in December!!!

We are slowly getting through the refresh of the Badger! Every bed is getting brand new mattresses and pillows, all the lockers painted, bathrooms painted, brand new lino downstairs in the kitchen and basement and various other bits and pieces. We hope to have all this finished by March and we hope to have the money to put in a new kitchen and a couple of new bathrooms in August!
