A new layer in the story of Sea Containers London.

For our new restaurant, Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers, our Creative Director & Designer Jacu Strauss has built on the design legacy of the Sea Containers building – from Warren Platner's original architecture to Tom Dixon's vision for the hotel.

The Thames is woven throughout. Deep reds inspired by Blackfriars Bridge and rusted steel rising from the river sit alongside rich mohair, walnut and custom furniture. Aged pottery and collected objects evoke the history of the Thames, while a series of paintings and tapestries by Jacu, inspired by nautical flags, join specially created sculptures by Maya Laud.

Warm, tactile and full of considered details - a restaurant that could only really belong on London's South Bank ⚓️

Our lobby - the heart of Sea Containers London.

At its centre sits Where We Land, an abstract anchor imagined by and brought to life with London makers Maya Laud and Jan Hendzel. Hand-carved from responsibly sourced and reclaimed wood, its sculptural form feels as though it has travelled, paused and found its place here.

Wrapped by a bench and designed to be gathered around, it’s a playful nod to our maritime heritage - and a natural meeting point at the heart of the hotel.

The Dynasty Cabin Suite. An icon in its own right.

Inspired by the lavish interiors and larger-than-life style of the 1980s, this heritage suite celebrates an era that never did subtle.

Designed by , every detail nods to the decade of decadence, maximalist design framed by uninterrupted views over London's skyline and the River Thames.

Go on, indulge a little.

The Mid-Century Cabin Suite. The spirit of a new era.

One of four themed heritage suites on the fifteenth floor, this immersive space captures the optimism and innovation of the late 1950s - when bold design, simplicity and utility shaped everything from interiors to fashion.

Designed by Jacu Strauss, it's a tribute to mid-century modernism at its most inviting, with sweeping views of the River Thames.
