A heartfelt goodbye... 👣

Many staff have passed through Crystal Palace Club Campsite over the 73 years it's been open, each bringing their own touches to the grounds while welcoming the variety of people we’ve been lucky enough to meet. We want to thank all our guests ftom short trippers to long stayers, and regulars who have made this site so special. We wish you all the best for the future.

The original Crystal Palace site, known as the 'Caravan Harbour,' was a temporary site built for the Festival of Britain and opened on 7 May 1951 when caravans were welcomed to the Caravan Harbour at Crystal Palace. The site proved so popular it remained after the festival, becoming the Club's first permanent caravan site. 📍

A little reading can go a long way. It can connect us to others, spark curiosity, boost our self-esteem and support our mental health. The Caravan and Motorhome Club has teamed up with the UK's leading national charity, The Reading Agency, and is offering members an online reading platform encouraging them to read and change their lives!

Throughout the next few months, we'll have a selection of books for adults and children alike available for you to read on our campsite and share in our love for literature. We'll also have activity packs for children to help them on their 'Road to Reading' journey.

Sign up to the Reading Agency today and together we will provide you with helpful advice, tips, and fantastic reading recommendations inspired by our Caravan and Motorhome Club campsite locations.

Dive into a unique beekeeping adventure right in the heart of London! This two-hour session starts with a brief introduction to bees and urban beekeeping, followed by a hands-on hive inspection. You’ll even get the chance to assist Hiver’s beekeeper in handling the frames and checking the colony’s health! 🍯🐝
