Opening our doors is a proud moment for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the space we’ve brought to life.

Tucked inside The Kensington Hideaway, there hangs a painting that some say was inspired by the chaotic brilliance of Finnegans Wake. With its swirling earth tones and layered brushstrokes, the abstract piece is rumoured to be the visual interpretation of a single sentence from James Joyce’s notoriously cryptic novel.

Guests whisper that the artist—an anonymous figure known only as “E”—created the work during a week-long stay Kensington, fuelled by black coffee and a stack of Victorian poetry.
