⚓️ We recently returned from another smashing break in Looe. A wonderful walk over the coastal path to Talland Bay, a few unexpected beautiful afternoons on the beach (it was quiet, what bliss!), we finally managed to get to Penrock Distillery & Bar (the cocktails are amazing - try it!), delicious home cooked fresh fish from Pengelly's Fish Shop and the highlight of the week was a meal at the recently re-opened The Sail Loft Looe …Wow! The food is spectacular, it did not disappoint! We even caught the tail end of the Looe Music Festival. Happy days! 🎸⚓️🎣

⚓️🎣LAST MINUTE AVAILABILITY…
Unusually we still have two September weeks available at beautiful Curlews period cottage, East Looe w/c Fri 11th and Fri 18th September. Now reduced to £975 for each week, down from £1450.

Just back from a lovely few impromptu days in Looe. The forecast wasn’t great, but each day turned out glorious, we spent three afternoons on the beach and even got to swim in the sea! You never can tell what the weather is going to be like in Cornwall. As the locals say, you have to go out of your front door and just see what it’s like! There was a wonderful Punch and Judy show on the beach, performed by a very talented young man called Teddy Saberton Teddy’s Entertainments. Teddy is only 16-years’ old, hopefully he has a bright future in front of him in entertainment. It was just lovely to see the little kids enthralled by the show, they loved the Punch and Judy just as much as I did growing up in the 1970’s, it was so refreshing to see this great British tradition being preserved. We also managed to get up on the cliffs to do our regular pilgrimage to my dear mum’s memorial bench, on the stunning coastal path, cooked some fantastic meals with beautiful fresh local fish from Pengelly's Fish Shop and even caught some filming of Beyond Paradise!
