Every corner of Sawyers Bed & Breakfast holds a story, and at the heart of it is our beloved Ken.

Together with his wonderful wife Tracey, Ken poured his heart into making Sawyers a welcoming home away from home for every guest. A devoted husband, a loving father, and a man of deep passion, Ken sadly passed away in 2023, but his spirit lives on through the very walls of this B&B.

Ken’s love for the sea and his service in the Navy shaped much of the decor you see today. His passion for maritime life can be felt in every carefully chosen piece, and his Navy medals, proudly displayed in the breakfast room, are a testament to his dedication and service.

Sawyers is more than just a place to stay—it’s a home filled with love, memories, and the legacy of an incredible man. Ken will forever live on through his B&B, and we are honoured to share his story with each and every guest who walks through our doors.
