Encouraging to hear that business levels have been holding up well again at Penrose Bed and Breakfast, following on from the significant peak in demand experienced in 2021. Such high demand is also a reflection of the strength in depth here with an appealing blend of quality, character and comfort, augmented by such a genuine and sincere approach to guest welfare. The rooms inspected both offer generous levels of space with excellent seating provision for guests, as discussed, so often a shortfall in many establishments. Bathrooms equally impressive with high quality fixtures and fittings and all mandatory requirements in place. Housekeeping diligent and accurate with a tangible sense of pride. The changes in the dining room, allied with the felling of the tree, have transformed the outlook, likewise the re-configuration has enhanced ease of use. Overall, much to admire and hence a classification at Four Stars (Gold) is retained with a Guest Accommodation designator.

The fabulous Lost In Space will be performing at the Gin Festival on Saturday 25th June at around 7.15 - 8.15pm to round off the evening 🎶

Free event, the festival starts at 11am down near the River Fower at The Parade in Lostwithiel.
