At last the new hen house is up and we collected 10 ex production hens from www.bettysfarmshop.co.uk this morning. The oldies are happy with them for now, the pecking order will be established soon I'm sure. Plenty of full English breakfasts on the way .....

Welcome to Old Hathern Station Bed & Breakfast, our converted Victorian Railway Station just outside Normanton on Soar in beautiful Leicestershire countryside. Old Hathern Station has offered charming bed & breakfast accommodation for the last five years and in 2017 we were delighted to be awarded Trip Advisor's Certificate of Excellence which we have continued to hold.

If you are looking to explore the wonderful countryside this area has to offer, have a business meeting nearby, or perhaps are visiting Sutton Bonington campus of Nottingham University... our delightful rooms and excellent breakfasts are just what you need! If you have an early flight from East Midlands Airport and need a relaxing place to stay close to the Airport with charm and character... look no further! If you are looking for retail therapy in one of the many shopping centres around Nottingham, Leicester or Derby and want to be staying close by... we are ideally situated near to major road and rail links.

We are situated just 5 mins from Nottingham University Sutton Bonington Campus, 10 mins from J24 of the M1 and East Midlands Parkway Railway Station, and 15 mins from Nottingham East Midlands Airport.
