Another absolutely breathtaking review (and pics) from one of our recent guests, staying in the beautiful dome Ta**us 💚 and just look at those stars! Wow!! ✨
‘We’ve just had another amazing stay at Stewton Stars Hideaway, and honestly, Jessica has somehow managed to make an already incredible place even better!
The first time we stayed, we booked one of the little huts in winter and the experience was absolutely immense. ❄️🔥 The cosy blankets, wood burner, heated sheets and hot water bottles made it feel like the ultimate winter escape. I genuinely thought, how could this possibly get any better? We absolutely loved it then, but now they’ve introduced the stargazing domes… and the domes in summer?! 🤩🤩 A completely different experience, but just as incredible!
And don’t even get me started on the bath! 🛁😍 Sitting there soaking in the bath while looking out at those incredible views was honestly one of the most luxurious and relaxing experiences, and the robes already waiting for you for when you get out was such a lovely little touch 🥰
And of course, the stargazing is what makes it also so magical! ✨ We were lucky enough to have a gorgeous clear night, and I managed to get some absolutely amazing pictures of the stars that I’ll definitely be keeping forever. There’s something so special about being able to step outside your dome and have that huge open sky right above you, away from all the lights and noise.
The outdoor space was another massive bonus. Having your own seating area and fire pit meant we could sit outside in the evening, relax and just enjoy the surroundings. 🔥 And the BBQ was brilliant too — we actually used it during our stay, and it was so nice being able to cook outside and make the most of the whole experience.
The whole dome was absolutely immaculate and so beautifully thought out. From the moment we arrived, everything felt luxurious, cosy and incredibly well looked after. There was genuinely everything you could possibly need, and then somehow even more!
The private toilet and shower facilities right next to the dome are also such a fantastic new addition. We honestly never minded the short walk to the shared facilities when we stayed in the hut — it was literally only about a minute — but having your own private facilities right there makes the dome experience feel that extra bit special and convenient.
And the views… WOW. Watching the sunset from the dome, waking up to the sunrise and seeing rabbits and deer wandering around was just magical. It’s so peaceful that you could quite happily spend your entire stay just sitting outside taking it all in. 🌅🦌🐇 even had the pleasure of seeing an upside down rainbow that i’ve personally never experienced before 🤣!!
Jessica is genuinely one of the loveliest hosts too — so friendly, welcoming and clearly puts so much care into making sure her guests have everything they could possibly want. You can really see the thought and effort that goes into the whole place. We even had a bottle of Budweiser, a bottle of rosé and milk waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived! 🥹 There is absolutely nothing she hasn’t thought about. Those little touches make such a difference and really add to that feeling of being looked after from the second you arrive.
What I love most is that Stewton Stars Hideaway keeps getting better without losing what made it so special in the first place. The hut in winter was such an incredible, cosy experience, and now the domes in summer have completely blown us away. It genuinely feels like you get a completely different kind of luxury depending on the season.
If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, romantic, luxurious and a little bit different, BOOK IT. Honestly, you won’t regret it. We’re already wondering when we can come back! i honestly love the place and it’s only a short drive down the road for us! ❤️✨
