Canal Farm offers three comfortable self-catering cottages, each with its own private courtyard area that have been created through the sympathetic conversion of traditional farm buildings.

We've been delighted to see some fantastic catches from some of our recent guests, making the most of the peaceful fishing available right on our doorstep. There's nothing better than starting the day by the water and ending it with a memorable catch!

Whether you're an experienced angler or simply looking for a relaxing countryside escape, our private fishing lake offers the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy nature.

🦭 Witness One of Nature’s Most Incredible Events This Winter 🦭

Every November and December, thousands of grey seals come ashore at nearby Donna Nook to give birth to their seal pups, creating one of the UK's most spectacular wildlife experiences.

Stay at Canal Farm Cottages and you'll be just a short drive away from seeing these adorable white-coated pups in their natural habitat. It's a truly memorable day out for families, photographers and wildlife enthusiasts.

This week's fishing catches 🎣

A big thanks to one of our guests for sharing photos of their biggest catch and favourite fish of the trip. Great to see everyone enjoying the lake and making some brilliant fishing memories!!

🌟 A huge thank you to some lovely guests who couldn't stop talking about the incredible Sunday lunch they recently enjoyed at The Plough Inn, Tetney!

They were so impressed that they felt they had to share their experience and some pictures with us, and we just had to pass on the praise. The food looked absolutely amazing, with beautifully cooked meats, generous portions, and all the trimmings you'd hope for from a proper Sunday roast.

We think it's important to support and celebrate fantastic local businesses when we can, especially when they're delivering experiences that people are excited to talk about. From what we've seen, The Plough is doing just that!

It's definitely been added to our list, and we can't wait to pay them a visit ourselves soon!
