The Royal Oak Inn still retains its wonderful cosy and traditional country pub atmosphere, and is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty just two miles from the Georgian market town of Louth, the Splash is approached through a shallow ford in the village of Little Cawthorpe on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds and is one of the most picturesque villages in Lincolnshire.

📢 Customer Notice – Thursday 7th May
Just a quick reminder that the pub will be closed to the public at lunchtime this Thursday (7th May) as we are hosting a very large wake.
A few helpful points for our customers:
• We cater for functions of all sizes – from intimate gatherings of 2 people to large events of 200–300 guests. Larger bookings will require exclusive use of the pub.
• During the winter months, we kindly ask that functions avoid our Thursday lunchtime carvery, as this is our busiest service (everyone loves a hearty roast!).
• In the summer, carvery demand is lower, so we have more flexibility with dates – feel free to get in touch to discuss options.
• We offer bespoke menus tailored to suit all tastes and occasions.
✅ The pub will reopen at 5pm, with food served from 6pm as usual.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support—we look forward to welcoming you soon!
