Still got the shanties in our heads🎶

A week and a half later, and we’re still hearing about it. The The Edinburgh Shanty Night filled the room, and by the second or third song, few people were left just watching. That’s the thing about the sea shanty group - they’re built to be joined in with, whether you meant to or not.

Thank you to the group for a brilliant night, and to everyone who came down and sang along. Lower Largo turned out in force, as it tends to.

And we might not be done with this. Keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks - there could be more where that came from 👀

The shanties are coming back to Lower Largo 🎶

If you caught during Largo Arts Week, you'll know exactly what you're in for. They're back with us this Saturday 22nd August, singing from 8pm.

Big voices, old songs, and a room that always ends up joining in whether it meant to or not. It's one of those nights where the atmosphere does half the work - and there aren't many better places to hear a sea shanty than a pub on the water.

Come down, get a pint in, and settle in.
