Waveney Wild Woods Welcome to our woods on the Suffolk/Norfolk border, adjacent to the Broadlands Nature Reserve an The historic county town of Norwich is 25 miles away.

The woods are next to the Waveney Way, part of the 93 mile Angles Way footpath that leads from Great Yarmouth to Thetford and joins The Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path to create vast and varied walking. The marsh land is part of the Broads National Park and a site of special scientific interest. Next door to our land is a large reserve owned by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, managed to encourage a

ll manner of birds with a special interest in winter waders. Living in the woods are badgers, foxes, muntjac, marsh harrier & barn owl to name a few with frequently seen chinese water deer, kestrel, heron, swan and even kingfisher. We are only a couple of miles from the sandy beaches of Lowestoft and Gorleston and within easy reach of the market towns of Beccles and Southwold. The region abounds in good, locally produced food, wine and beer and historic broadland landscapes.
