We're also ideally placed for exploring the historic city of Norwich, Framlingham Castle, and the stunning dog-friendly Suffolk coast. After a day of discovery, unwind in one of the many nearby cosy pubs or restaurants, or simply relax in the comfort of The Copse. The shop is super spooky at the moment ready for Halloween 🎃. They always work really hard on the window displays.

We love celebrating others success

One of our go to restaurant recommendations for our guests is The Copper smoke House in Oulton Broad. They are really dog friendly and do great food.
The food is so great they have been shortlisted for the best burger in East Anglia.

Our fingers are crossed for them.

Yesterday we went to Carlton Marshes and built bat boxes just in time for Halloween 🦇

We already get bats in the driveway and our garden so hopefully these new residences will mean we see a few more.

A Pine Marten has been spotted at Benacre Nature reserve!

To be honest your guess is as good as ours, we just hope that Peggy isn't the one to find it next time we walk on Kessingland beach!.

Today is National Bathtub day!

Along with our welcome pack and homemade dog treats our "amazing" bathroom gets by far the most mentions in our reviews and comments.

Imagine a lovely hot soak in the bath after a winter dog walk, perfect!

🐾 CHRISTMAS IS BETTER WITH YOUR DOG, RIGHT?

We think so.

Which is why a Christmas break at The Copse doesn't mean leaving your four-legged friend at home.

Bring them along for the winter walks.

Let them curl up on the sofa.

Give them a muddy-paw shower afterwards.

Then head out together to see the Christmas lights in Oulton Broad. 🎄

No kennels.

No worrying about who's looking after them.

Just you, your dog and a little festive adventure.

And while we're very dog-focused, you absolutely don't have to have a dog to stay with us!

One of the things we love about the Christmas lights in Oulton Broad is that they're not simply a display.

They're a community tradition.

Residents decorate their homes, neighbours get involved, visitors come to enjoy the spectacle – and money is raised for charity along the way. ❤️

It's exactly the sort of thing we love about living here.

Local people creating something joyful for everyone to enjoy.
