❗️Coronavirus Reassurance❗️🧽🧼🥘🍞🛏🛁
We write to reassure you that, as a business, we are doing everything we can with regards to COVID-19. Much of our procedures remain unchanged, but we thought we would highlight the following in order to put you at ease regarding your stay with us at Lindisfarne Cottage.
🧼 We always disinfect and deep-clean throughly before every guest arrives anyway, but we have also instructed the cleaners to ensure special attention is taken with this to ensure that we are doing all we can. Kim (the cottage owner) will personally check that this has been done every time. We will leave some antibacterial sprays/wipes in the kitchen for your use if required.
🧺 We always wash our laundry using Dettol Anti-bacterial laundry cleanser alongside detergents, to ensure that bedding and towels are disinfected during the wash.
🛁 The hot tub is always drained down, thoroughly disinfected and re-filled (with appropriate chemicals) before each guest arrives. There will also be guest-access to the hot-tub chemicals so you can top-up throughout your stay.
🍞 The local shop- Lowick Village Store- is currently offering a local delivery service to residents in the village. Whilst the shop is only a short walk from the cottage, if you wished to take advantage of this, you can get in touch with them via facebook or telehphoning 01289 388644- Richard & Karen are always happy to help. We do currently supply guests with a free welcome pack including local produce such as ground coffee, tea, biscuits, bread, eggs & milk, which is all sourced from the village store.
🥘 The local pub/restaurant- The White Swan Inn, Lowick- is currently offering a takeaway service for those who do not wish to eat-in for meals. They are only a short walk from the cottage and have suggested they might be willing to deliver also. You can get in touch with them via facebook or calling 01289 388249. The other pub/restaurant in the village- The Black Bull Inn, Lowick, are currently remaining open for business and are following the government's guidelines.
