Looking for somewhere to bring everyone together this festive season?

Join us at The Black Bull for a Christmas celebration, whether it’s a work gathering, a small business party or simply an occasion with friends.

Enjoy our festive specials alongside our regular menu, with something to suit every taste.

We would like to say thank you to everyone who helped make Black Bull Fest 2026 happen!

A big thank you to Marc Inglis & Jimmy Manningham for providing and assisting us with the PA system, David Craig for providing the trailer, and our live acts The Joe Mangels, The Dull Fudds, Hay, and Jack & Max York for providing entertainment throughout the day.

We’d also like to thank Lynsey and the Lowick Village Store for their contributions, the Lowick Village Hall for providing the tables and chairs, Alan Bell, Mick Metcalf, Kevin Wood (Kev), Alan McBlain, Ken Marshall, and anyone else who lent us a hand with the setup and preparations.

Introducing our new Head Chef, Andy Brydon 👨🏻‍🍳

With 46 years of culinary experience, including 39 years as a Head Chef, Andy brings a remarkable depth of knowledge and craftsmanship to the dishes here at The Black Bull.

His career has taken him from the finesse of nouvelle cuisine to the very best of traditional pub dining, creating dishes rooted in quality, flavour and his personal touch.

Now, Andy begins a new chapter here in Lowick, and we’re delighted to welcome him to our kitchen.

We look forward to sharing what’s to come. 🐂
