Today five members of Border Lodge moved their litter picking exploits to Tidworth. Torrential rain for a few hours before our start time but thankfully the showers kept away.

One gentleman JC talked to during his pick expressed his interest in joining, so we will meet him at our next open bar night.

Five bags of rubbish that aren’t on the streets of Tidworth anymore. Result.

At the March 2026 Quarterly Communication, Pro Grand Master Jonathan Spence set out a clear and compelling direction for the future: Contemporary Freemasonry.

In a world increasingly shaped by digital connection - but real-world disconnection - Freemasonry has a vital role to play. As an antidote to isolation, loneliness, and the growing pressures on mental health, our values of friendship, integrity, and service have never been more relevant.

We can confirm that the Book of Constitutions will be updated to reflect a more contemporary tone of address, expanding beyond "Brother" to include a range of regionally authentic and culturally relevant alternatives. Accepted terms will include:

This morning a small, but hardy bunch of Freemasons from Border Lodge, some of which were accompanied by their significant others, completed a 10 mile March for the Charity, Combat Stress, which helps Service personnel suffering from the effects of PTSD.

Many thanks to everyone who supported this and donated. The money received will be gratefully received and faithfully applied
