It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved girl, Darcey. Darcey passed over rainbow bridge this morning, at home, surrounded by her family and her best friend Teddy. 🐾❤️🌈
Many of our guests over the years will remember her as the unofficial welcome committee of our holiday lets. She loved nothing more than making her rounds, stopping by for a fuss, a kind word, or the occasional treat and bacon sandwich. For so many visitors, a holiday here wasn’t complete without a visit from her.
She brought joy, comfort, and companionship to countless guests and was a much-loved part of life here at Woodland Escapes. We know many of you will have memories and photos of her from your stays.
Woodland Escapes won’t quite be the same without her presence, but we are so grateful for all the happiness she shared and the love she received in return.
Though 13 years was not enough, we were so blessed to have been able to share her with you all. Darcey, we love you so much and we promise we will never stop talking about you ❤️.
