Great B&B accommodation on a working farm - pigs, hens, sheep and cows! En-suite rooms, families welcome, evening meals by arrangement. Peaceful location close to Ludlow, Bridgnorth and Ironbridge. Ideal for visiting West Midlands Safari Park and Severn Valley Railway. There are lots of great walks straight from the door. We are a gateway to the dramatic Shropshire Hills, in the foot hills of the Clee Hills.

A fun day following the first Tractor Run raising funds for Kawasaki disease.
Heading off from one of our fields the Run explored the local byways, much of it offroad through neighbouring farms, always good for checking out what they are up to!!
Great pork baps at Willowdene before passing Broome Park Farm on the way back to Cleobury.

You certainly don't need to worry about travelling this way at the moment!!

Well, that must be a record! Harvest complete by 9th August!
Sadly, yields are down by at least 25% and the ground is too hard to start cultivating for next year.
Which means we can take a few days away! Although not until after the Bank Holiday as I am busy with B&B guests!!

A busy day yesterday, extracting honey 🍯

There are several abandoned hives on the farm but they seemed to have bees in this year, so we added supers to 3 of the hives.

A month later and one super was full, so time to extract the honey. We don't have an extractor, so I melt down the honey filled comb, skim off the wax as it cools and pour into jars. Several hours later, I have 20lbs of honey and a very sticky kitchen!
