Spent some quality time with my beutiful wee buddy . Showing him the ropes in transport requrments for a grandfather incase he (being me) has a dibilitating sotuation with the 40 year old Westfalia, weather, unusual flooding, military road blocks as well as -Shabaab militants or what we local call the .
This is the day before I left home base near the Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf Resort, Naivasha, for the Mchelelo Research Camp within the Tana River Primate National Reserve. My is target destination. This area protects rare riverine forests and endangered primates found nowhere else on earth.
It had to be done.
