It's a 4-day week for most of us, but there's still a lot going on at the Ludlow Mascall Centre:

Monday
The Centre will be closed for the Easter Monday Bank Holiday.

Tuesday
-XPert Diabetes Course, 9:30am - 1pm. Invited attendees only.
-Ludford Parish Council, 7pm - 9pm.
-Taekwon-Do, weekly, 7pm – 8pm. For adults and children 11+. Free taster session. Contact 07773 787450 or [email protected]

Wednesday
-Hatha Yoga with Katherine, weekly, 6:30pm – 7:30pm. Practice traditional Hatha yoga in a spacious and peaceful setting. Contact 07975 535408 or [email protected]

Thursday

-The Friday Art Group, weekly, 10am – 4pm. Bring your choice of art materials for either a half- or full-day session with life and portrait models. Contact [email protected]

In addition to weekly activities, we hire rooms for one-off meetings, courses, and counselling sessions. There is also a co-working space, pods equipped for producing podcasts as well as leading or attending online training, and designated desks for short-, medium-, and long-term hire.

The Centre is fully accessible, and has ample free parking as well as Wi-Fi throughout the building. Screens, flip charts, white boards, and a data projector can all be provided. To learn more, including our availability, contact [email protected].

Ready to cultivate more vitality in your being through movement, breath and awareness? Our long standing Tues night mat based class has dropped the ‘gentle’ title to reflect a slight change in pace as we move into spring and summer.

This is an open level class best suited to those comfy in seated/kneeling and standing postures. We’ll be linking movement and breath to cultivate a flow state, build strength and flexibility and connect with all parts of yourself ~ come join us.

Be sure to allow extra time if you are visiting the Centre.

The timings for the roadworks on Sheet Road have been extended until Wednesday 8th April.

Please note that no works will be taking place over Easter Weekend (Good Friday to Easter Monday) and the roads will be open.

Work on Whitcliffe Road, passed the junction for Middlewood Road, has been extended until 14th April, although we understand that every effort will be made to open this road before then.

Marches Movement CIC are beyond grateful to share that we’ll be facilitating weekly yoga and monthly sound bath sessions starting in April to support folks on their cancer journeys.

🍃 Gentle Yoga ⏰ Weekly Wednesdays, 10:45-11:30am

A gentle yoga session combining movement, breath and relaxation suitable for everybody including those undergoing treatment and in recovery (some caveats still apply). Important information if you are travelling to the Centre between now and 31 March.

❗ Sheet Road, Ludlow resurfacing - an update.

Sheet Road is being resurfaced from Monday 23 to Tuesday 31 March.

During the work the road will be closed from 9.30am to 4pm each day (weekdays only – not including Friday 27th)

On Friday 27th the road will be closed overnight from 8pm to 6am (Saturday) from the A49 roundabout to Greenacres junction. This is to reduce disruption to local businesses.

During the closures access to the work areas will be maintained for the following:

✔️ Residents living within the closure, when safe to do so.
✔️ Businesses located within the closure, when safe to do so.
✔️ Pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and equestrians
✔️ Emergency vehicles.

🚌 Access will be no longer be provided through Sheet Road for buses.

For all other traffic a signed diversion will be place. Depending on their vehicle type, road users may be able to choose an alternative diversion route.

❗ People are asked to ensure vehicles are not parked on the road whilst the work is in progress.

The Easter Bunny has been very busy… bouncing over ancient stone walls, through the castle ruins and across the grassy lawns - hiding colourful eggs for young explorers to discover!

Pick up a trail sheet and search the castle’s secret corners, peek into hidden nooks and look carefully around the historic ruins. Some eggs will be easy to spot, while others may be tucked away in the trickiest places… the Easter Bunny can be quite sneaky!

Find them all and return to the gift shop to claim your special Easter reward.
