Did you know you can get white bluebells? 🤯

Bluebell season has hit the Forest hard this year, and whilst there are loads of places to go and see them, you can admire them right from the Hideaway. Our woodland area is full of bluebells and even some of the white varieties.

The snowdrops are out 🌸
Always a good sign, means Spring is just around the corner, and hopefully that means some warmer weather. Currently, you can enjoy these snowdrops right from the Hideaway. They are thriving in our woodland area.

We maybe coming into Winter now, but the exploring doesn't stop there. The Forest is full of a variety of trees, from deciduous to evergreens, and hidden within are many hints of the Forest's mining heritage awaiting for you to uncover. There are miles upon miles of walks and trails. Some official trails like Offa's D**e and Gloucestershire Way, but substantially more that you can wander or hike to your hearts content. Our hideaway is perfectly situated with many walks straight from the gate. So don't let the cold put you off, as you'll have the Rose Hideaway to come back and warm up in 😁

Reports of some snow hitting the UK this week. It's unlikely to hit the Forest of Dean. But even if it does, it's a magical experience walking in the snowy woodlands ❄️
