A quick reminder from Lydstep Private Sales.
We often see comments regarding annual park fees, with terms such as “expensive”, “ridiculous”, or comparisons to holidays abroad or mortgage payments. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, it’s important to remember that these fees are set by the park operators, not by individual owners or by Lydstep Private Sales.
Negative comments on sales posts can be discouraging for owners who are simply trying to market their holiday homes. We are always transparent about the costs associated with ownership and are happy to provide balanced, honest advice based on over 13 years of personal ownership experience, previous employment within the holiday park industry, and our current role in private holiday home sales.
When viewing any property listing, whether it’s a house, apartment, or holiday home, the focus should be on whether it suits your needs and budget. Most people wouldn’t visit an estate agent’s page to criticise a property’s council tax band, décor, or running costs, and the same courtesy should apply here.
Our aim is to provide a supportive marketplace for both buyers and sellers. Constructive questions are always welcome, but comments that unfairly judge someone’s home or potentially impact their sale are neither helpful nor necessary.
If holiday home ownership isn’t something you’re currently considering, that’s absolutely fine. However, this page exists primarily for those who are interested in buying, selling, or learning more about owning a holiday home in West Wales.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support our sellers by liking, sharing and tagging posts and helps keep this page positive & informative.
If you want to be respected here, be respectful.
