It’s raining in Lyme. Now what? ☔️

First of all: don’t panic. A rainy day on the coast is practically part of the experience.
⁣
Pull on a coat, embrace the weather, find somewhere brilliant for lunch, browse the shops, settle into a pub or simply head back to your property, put the kettle on and listen to the rain outside.

One of the best things about knowing Lyme? Knowing the people who make it what it is.

Mike caught up with his good friend Ben at The Ship Inn for a pint and a chat. 🍻

Ben owns The Ship, used to play in The Carnabys and, alongside Mike, still has plenty of music and festival stories to tell.

It’s these people, places and friendships that make Lyme feel like home to us – and mean we can give our guests recommendations that go a little further than a Google search.

October looks good on Lyme. 🍂

The summer crowds have eased, the streets are quieter and the coast starts to feel like it belongs to you again.

Walk the Cobb without rushing. Find somewhere warm for lunch. Watch the weather roll in from the sea. Head back, light the fire and settle in for the evening.

It’s a slower version of Lyme – and we might love it even more. 🌊
