Seahorse Cottage 🐚
Hidden away on one of Lyme’s historic little lanes, Seahorse Cottage is exactly the sort of place you hope to find on a seaside escape.
Sleeping four, with two bedrooms, a gorgeous little garden, sea views from the master bedroom and the beach just a five-minute stroll away. Better still, this cottage has been known as Seahorse for nearly 250 years. A proper little piece of Lyme history.
Morning coffee in the garden, wander into town, afternoon by the sea. That’s the plan sorted.

The South West Coast Path 🥾
If you're going to earn the pub at the end, you may as well REALLY earn it.
Start at Thorncombe Beacon, take in those ridiculous Jurassic Coast views, then head towards Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast of Great Britain at 191 metres. From there, you can continue down towards Charmouth and eventually all the way back to Lyme. 🌊

And the important bit? At the bottom between Thorncombe Beacon and the climb towards Golden Cap you'll find The Anchor.
Cold drink. Gorgeous food. Walking boots off if necessary.
Jurassic heaven, basically.

No matter how many times we see it, this view never gets old.
A slow wander along the Cobb, the sea stretching out in front of you and nowhere particularly urgent to be.
Lyme at its very best. 🤍
