I’m so happy my DIY light shades are finally in place in our upstairs landing and on far longer cords. Perhaps I will actually be able to change the lightbulbs in the future, albeit with a very tall ladder. I think it was worth the pain putting them together, piece by piece…

Oh, what a lot of fungi excitement on an impromptu local walk with my lovely guest today. Not just one, but 3 fly agaric mushrooms! And so many others. Milo chased a few squirrels and the autumn colour was coming through in the hazy morning light. Altogether a perfect walk 🍁
