After a couple of very windy days it is lovely to see people out on the seafront enjoying some lovely sunshine today ☀️. Not many better places to be than sat on a bench looking at blue skies and a lovely beach in the sun. How lucky we are to live in such a wonderful place 😎.

Major BBC drama filming in St Annes on sea!

Have you noticed all the lorries and activities at the front?

The BBC are using our lovely coast as a backdrop for 'Dragon Slayer' starring Matthew Rhys.

It's a factual drama about Sir Harry Evans, former editor of The Sunday Times. He is famous for investigative journalism and broke some of the biggest stories in UK history.

It's a popular filming location and it's fun to see familiar sights on screen!

Lots of activity taking place in the Pier car park. Events Logistics vehicles with trailers and 2 large crew trailers and pods. Does anyone know what filming is due to take place??

Great addition to St Annes. Our guests have loved visiting your museum - it has been a great source of conversation in our dining room. Keep up the good work 👏

A big thank you for all the visitors that came to see us during heritage week, and also to all the local visitors and those from far and wide, thankyou for your support., we couldn't do this without you. We are open until the 1st of November Thursday to Sunday 10am to 4pm ... before we close for the Winter Break ...

Great news! Well done to The Claremont. So many lovely places to stay - combine that with great bars and restaurants and great shows and events and it shows just what a great place we live in and why so many people keep coming back!

What a lovely moment we had in our dining room this morning. We are honoured to have Brian and Barbara staying with us to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary! When they came down for breakfast and saw the decorations, cards and presents they were quite overwhelmed - when they told our other guests how many years they have been married there was spontaneous applause from everyone wanting to wish them congratulations. A lovely moment and we wish them continued happiness 🥰
