What a lovely moment we had in our dining room this morning. We are honoured to have Brian and Barbara staying with us to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary! When they came down for breakfast and saw the decorations, cards and presents they were quite overwhelmed - when they told our other guests how many years they have been married there was spontaneous applause from everyone wanting to wish them congratulations. A lovely moment and we wish them continued happiness 🥰

Always one of the highlights of the calendar and this year is no exception! Today sees the start of The 1940’s Wartime Weekend in Lytham and our guests were looking amazing this morning as they headed out after breakfast. This is a 2 day event that takes place on Lytham Green with dancing taking place in other areas including Lytham Square. If you’re in the area or fancy a day out then this might be of interest to you and worth a trip to Lytham to see it in person.

This weekend has been very busy with Blackpool Airshow and yesterday was a full turn round of rooms for us so it’s was a fantastic motivational boost for us to be given these sweet treats. They went perfectly with our morning coffee today 😋

It’s Day One of the 50th AIG Women’s Open Golf Tournament at Royal Lytham St Annes today and we had a great breakfast service to start us off. This week we are hosting player families from Spain, a member of the Spanish Golf Federation and a big group of golf fans from Japan - here to follow the Japanese players. Great to hear so many different languages being spoken at breakfast; all sharing a common love of the game of golf. Good luck to all the players competing this week. We hope you enjoy our lovely seaside town and we hope you enjoy the challenge of taking on one of the best golf courses in the world 🙏

Best in the region!

The sister towns of St Annes on the Sea and Lytham have been named as the best seaside destination in the North West, by consumer magazine 'Which?'.

Its annual survey of UK seaside towns and beaches also ranked 'Lytham St Annes' among the Top 30 seaside destinations in the UK.

The peace and quiet here, the glorious stretch of sand, and of course our iconic pier all helped.
