Tuesday Striders Walk/Run Club – New Members Welcome!
We’re looking for a few more people to join our Tuesday Striders Walk/Run Club.
The idea is simple: 40 minutes of exercise, your way.
📍 Meet: Charlie’s Mast
🕔 Time: Every Tuesday at 5:55pm
We head down the coastal path for 20 minutes, then turn around and make our way back to the start point.
Don’t worry if 40 minutes sounds a bit daunting. There are plenty of benches along the route if you need a breather, a rest, or simply want to wait for others to come back and join them for part of the walk.
We don’t have any Olympians in the group—but they’d be more than welcome!
The club is simply a reason to get out and get moving. Whether that’s:
* A gentle walk
* Part of your Couch to 5K journey
* An easy training run
* Or any other way of putting one foot in front of the other
Everyone is welcome.
What we can guarantee:
✅ You’ll feel better physically and mentally after getting outside and moving
✅ If you stick with it, you’ll get fitter
✅ You’ll meet some lovely people and expand your social circle
✅ You’ll have something positive to look forward to each week
