New in Mablethorpe 🍷
We popped into The Olive Tree Wine and Tapas Bar, a new addition to Mablethorpe High Street. 🌿🍷
A lovely setting, a relaxed atmosphere and a great-looking menu offering tapas, wine, draught beers, barista coffee and homemade cakes.
We enjoyed a glass of wine and a beer while having a look around and we'll definitely be going back to try the food!
Another little place to add to your Mablethorpe list. ❤️

☀️🌡️ Stay Safe in the Sun 🌡️☀️

With potential record breaking temperatures set for today and many people making the most of the beautiful weather along our coastline, we would like to remind everyone to stay safe in the sun and heat.

A fun day at the beach can quickly turn serious if precautions aren’t taken. Sunburn, dehydration, heat exhaustion, and heatstroke can affect anyone — especially young children, older people, and those spending long periods outdoors.

💧 Drink plenty of water regularly, even if you don’t feel thirsty

🧴 Apply high-factor sun cream and reapply it throughout the day

🧢 Wear a hat, sunglasses, and lightweight clothing

⛱️ Take regular breaks in the shade where possible

👶 Keep children cool and hydrated

🐶 Remember the sand can become extremely hot for pets’ paws

🍦 Take breaks from physical activity during the hottest part of the day

🌊 If entering the sea, cool off gradually and never underestimate the water temperature
