Ray's East Coast Caravans

Sadly we have a victim of Storm Boelo 😪
As we had to re house all the goats to get them as near the yard as possible and he couldn't go into the main yard due to weaning and his mum being in the yard
We put all 4 young goats together in Goatingham Palace as they usually play friendly with Noel and Lisa.
Something happened overnight and we think they must have squabbled and young Woody might have been pushed outside the house and got a chill. Either that or they had been fighting and Woody came off worse...
Today he is feeling proper poorly and very off colour. He won't eat or play and just curled up in the straw
His temperature is normal and no visible signs of injury but we have had to put him in Goaty hospital and keeping observations on him.
Poor Woody 😭

💦🌧️☔Soaked to the skin - doesn't express how wet we all got this afternoon 💦🌧️☔
Thank you to our courageous Volunteers this afternoon: Darren, Charlotte, Angie, Gracie, Shelley and David who braved the elements to try and provide warm and dry spaces for all the animals ...
We are REALLY desperate to raise these funds for the winter barn .
At this time of the year we rely totally on donations and fund raising to keep the animals fed cared for and this evening with the Festival of Light being cancelled the drop in income will have an effect which will impact Hensell Goat Rescue for weeks ahead.
If you would like to support us and donate please visit www.hensellgoatworkd.com 🙏
