A beautiful walk steeped in mists and Arthurian legend. Llyn Barfog was not one for a swim - even if it had been a sunny day, the legend of the Afanc (the monster that lived in the lake) and the coating of water lilies act as a bit of a deterrent! And although we didn’t get the promised panoramic view, the mists cleared as we walked down into Aberdyfi to a breathtaking view of the Leri, Ynyslas, Borth and the cliffs beyond. A gem of a walk and one we will do again.
