If I don’t reply straight away, don’t worry I will open messages / emails in the time order I get them. I will be delivering mutton bacon until around 1pm.

Any early asks for dates won’t hear back until the dates open.

We will be offering dates up to our regulars first - this means if you have booked with us for 2026, or have tried to book with us but unable to -

I will be contacting everyone Thursday 18th, 5pm onwards (We are off to the Mid Wales Tourism conference during the day).

I will hold dates for 48 hours to allow everyone to ask their work etc for time off.
If no deposit (50% of stay) is received by the 3rd day, we will be offering the dates out to someone else (this is the same booking procedure that happens now).

A reminder on prices:
We stay the same price all year round:
Main opening seasoning March 31st To October 1st.

Sheep will be by the pitch - March 10th to May 5th due to lambing, after this they can be moved out of sight (our furthest fields are 1 mile away).

£33/n for solo humans (and their pets plus upto 2 children 4 and under)
£35/n Inc. 2 people (adults or adult and child over 5)
These prices include the thing you sleep (tent/camper/MH/rooftent etc), plus awning and/or gazebo. Max 2 vehicles equivalent ie Your MH / Camper plus a car or 2 motorbikes to travel in locally.

Additional people 5 years and older £10/p/n
Additional tents/campers/roofbox / car camping £35/n.
Bringing your own gear - dog numbers are unlimited / no Max.

Outside of the pitch is the private to you shower shed with: electric shower (no push button), flushing toilet, Belfast sink with hot water, then in a cupboard is a fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, and spare electric socket for device charging.

Pre-erected tents available for next year - they are put up and down per booking.
Dog numbers are limited in the pre-erected tents: to note less people more dogs.

Fencing will be upgraded to 6ft high dog wire over winter of 2026.

We will take bookings between Jan and march but at a lot lower capacity, so the ground doesn’t get too mucky.

2026 dates still available:
£35/n same price until Dec 31st 2026.
5th to 8th October
Then 12th onwards through into winter (minus 1 night on the 26th).

Update - Professional fencing contractors are on a roll 🙄😂 Very tidy job.

3x 50m wire roll now been added on, another 6-7x 50m to go.
To note it’s not been stapled yet, and there is still the skirt and small wire to add after. This is very much work in progress.
What you can see is it’s a high and the think hedge and it isn’t flat 🤣🤣

You wouldn’t think that I (Pippa) works partly in the forest, walking on mainly steep / hilly forested / brash mats / replanting sites, as I puff up the hill out of breath 🙈🙄 (I usually have steel toed walking boots and a hiking stick too).

Well this weekend we are down at Moody Meadows in Bargoed Farm.
Camping with a hot tub pitch.
My 16 yr old is in the green tent, and we 3 are in the blue tent.

Woke up this morning and looked up, and saw little Gryff peeking through the bedroom divider 🥰😍😍.

He turns 2 at 3.45pm today.

Farmer Dafydd is home tomorrow, and us 3 the next day.

(I’ll do a little video of the site and dog walking field later on, for any of our non-reactive guests who’d like to explore south of Aberaeron.

Pippa (I) has just finished her day job, for the day. I popped down to see the progress for the dog exercise paddock (1.5 acres).

⭐️ Prices range from £85/n November to Early March and up to £150 during Easter to August. Our prices do not go up during holidays - one fixed price per season. 💵

⭐️We can move sheep away, out of sight. No sheep by the hut May 5th to late July then on rotation around all the fields, so easy to move away.

⭐️ Lamb cuddles and bottlefeeding available in mid March to mid April also feed the cattle, and look at tractors.
⭐️ Thursdays and weekends we offer to those who ask at booking farm tours in the Polaris - can take up to 2 people (parent and child or 1 adult), travel the length of the farmland, see sheep and cattle and get lots of landscape photo opportunities - £20

Camping 2027 dates are opening on June 20th at 12noon. - camping has 4 steps to get to the shower shed. It’s a single pitch all by itself ideal to be away from everyone, and would suit us when my Autistic teenager was 3, as it’s enclosed with 4ft high fencing.

If you have a favourite Hut date get them booked, before it’s too late!
If you have a reactive dog in the hut and you’d like no dogs on the pitch, we can close the pitch at an additional cost of £10/n during main season, free of charge outside of that time.

Be quick though as we are expecting high volumes of dates being booked on the 20th June for the pitch.

Yesterday, I had our Young Gryff helping me feed the pigs. He really enjoyed holding the bucket handle and being picked up, to tip out the final bit of feed into the field.

If you or your child(ren) or anyone else on your booking (campers and glampers) would like to come help feed the pigs please let us know before your arrival, so we can plan a feed together - free of charge. The Pedigree Large Black pigs are with us till November 4th.

Remember 2027 dates for the camping are opening on June 20th at 12noon.

Hut 2027 dates are already open, with March, June, July and August already getting booked up.
