We want to take a moment to address a trend our drivers have noticed recently.

We have had a few incidents of passengers attempting to travel by showing a photograph of a ticket on their phone.

We want to gently remind everyone that we cannot accept photos of tickets for travel. You will be made to buy a new ticket.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲?
𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙧𝙖𝙪𝙙: Accepting a photo creates opportunities for ticket sharing. For example, if Person 1 buys a weekly ticket and Person 2 takes a photo of it, two people are attempting to travel on one ticket.

𝙆𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙇𝙤𝙬: We work incredibly hard to keep our fares as low and affordable as possible for the community. Unfortunately, fraudulent travel directly undermines our ability to do this.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙙𝙤:
Please ensure you always have your original physical ticket or your validated digital ticket (via the TrawsCymru app) ready to scan or show when boarding.

Thank you to everyone who came to see our TrawsCymru T2 double deckers in Aberystwyth, Machynlleth and Caernarfon. If you didn’t get a chance to visit, they’ll be out on the road between Bangor and Aberystwyth this month. We can’t wait to welcome you on board 🚌

Dan and the Gang had a lovely day enjoying the atmosphere at the Hay Festival or relaxing in the sun in the cathedral city of Hereford.
