We’re famous!

Well, maybe not, but we did get a lovely mention in a national newspaper! So we’re pretty chuffed with that.

Thanks go to the wonderful models who are always a joy to be around, the lovely photographer who Visit Kent arranged for us, the team for getting the campsite ready for the season and of course the thoughtful journalist who wanted to feature us, Natalie Paris.

The path between the bathroom and campsite Brissenden Vineyard is an avenue in between the vines. It is lit at night by solar sensor lights, so it is always fun to run! (NB running is not essential, just tempting!)

It is always handy to have a torch when you are camping - but if you’d like to borrow the solar light featured here - you’re very welcome! The path from the campsite to the toilets is lit by (more subtle!) solar lights! 😆 so you’ll easily find your way.

In need of a ? Fancy a in a ? You and your group of up to 4 large tents will get to enjoy Brissenden Vineyard ‘s space for yourselves. If you need to hire a tent, we have teamed up with Under the Stars Parties who have beautiful bell tents. We are about 10 minutes away from Leeds Castle 🏰 which is just one of the local attractions. Our welcome pack lists lots of other fun things to do, recommended by locals. Checkout (over on Insta) for even more ideas of where to go (her photos/reels will inspire you). We provide a 🔥 each evening and well-behaved dogs are welcome. You can hire our function room and table if you wish to! on 28th July 2020...if you’d like to with friends/family in this peaceful little , in the Weald of - we are now taking bookings for . Tucked within the vines, we have ample space for 4 large tents ⛺️. If one or more of your group don’t have their own tent, or perhaps just want a bit more luxury (and space in the boot of the car!) we have teamed up with the wonderful and very local Under the Stars Parties through whom you can hire one of their beautifully furnished bell tents. A stay at is not your typical camping trip. Set in amongst the vines of our small, family run vineyard, there are vines on three sides of the site. The eastern side is lined with oaks, through which you have views over a gorgeous field, often occupied by sheep. The grass site is on a very gentle slope and is set well back from the road. It has space for up to 4 tents, with parking away from the site. !

After all the lumps and bumps were smoothed out of the using the rotivator (repeatedly) and the harrow - it was time to get ! Once more, Big G stepped up to the task. The weather forecast said to expect showers over the bank holiday weekend, so the grass seed was scattered in anticipation. As most people hoped for the 🌧 to stay away, we hoped not to miss it. But miss it, we did! By less than 100m one day! And then came Wednesday. The downpour held off from targeting the school run, a rare treat, but the skies opened just as football practice began and didn’t stop for the entire hour! I tried to mask my glee as my sopping wet, freezing cold, young footballer dripped his way over to us at the end! vineyard

Over the years Team Brissenden has regularly enjoyed camping in the vineyard - what’s not to love?! ⛺️ ✨ 🍇 🥂 This year we have decided to open up that opportunity to the public. The site is nestled within the vines of Brissenden Vineyard (on 3 sides). The eastern side is a line of oak trees which will provide lovely shade first thing in the morning over the tents. The campers will appreciate it much more than the vines ever did! ☀️ 🌳 More details to come very soon!
