A message to our valued and amazing customers
It is with heavy hearts that, after a great deal of thought and careful consideration, the Kiernan family have made the incredibly difficult decision to close our restaurant from Friday 28th August.
This has been one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make. Like many independent hospitality businesses, we have faced the ongoing challenges of rising food, energy, supplier and operating costs. Despite our best efforts, it has become increasingly difficult to continue our restaurant service in a way that is both sustainable and true to the standards we have always set ourselves.
Although our restaurant is closing, this is not goodbye. Our much-loved boutique hotel, ever-popular bar and scenic boat trips will continue to operate seven days a week, and we can’t wait to continue welcoming both familiar faces and new guests. We remain committed to offering the warm hospitality, friendly atmosphere and memorable experiences that have always been at the heart of everything we do.
We are pleased to say that we will be honouring the majority of our larger functions that are already confirmed through to the end of the year. For any other restaurant-related occasions where deposits have been paid, we will be contacting customers personally to discuss the arrangements and organise refunds where appropriate.

Thank you for choosing us for your family meals, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, celebrations and quiet evenings together. Thank you for the laughter that filled our dining room, the friendships we have built, and the countless memories we have been privileged to share with you. Your loyalty, kindness and support have meant more to us than words could ever express.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to every one of our chefs, past and present. Your passion, creativity and countless tireless hours have been the heart of our kitchen. The exceptional food you have created and the unforgettable experiences you have given our guests have helped shape our restaurant into something truly special, and for that we will always be grateful.
I would also like to thank our front of house team, for all the tireless shifts worked through into the early hours of the morning to make sure all of our guests left with a smile on their face. From food runners, to reservations, to the bar team, everyone has played a vital role in making Le Bouchon such an amazing place to work and every single one of you should be proud of what you have achieved here.
Whilst one chapter is coming to a close, another continues. We are excited to continue welcoming you to our boutique hotel, bar and boat trips, and we sincerely hope you will continue to make new memories with us for many years to come.
