Our Hotel, Restaurant, Bar and Wedding Venue is rooted firmly in the town and we offer hospitality from the heart. The Talbot, Malton is not just the centre-piece of my family’s Fitzwilliam Estate but central to Malton’s food revival itself. Great food, comfortable rooms and really friendly service. Whether you’re here to dine in the hotel’s famous Restaurant or enjoy a drink in our bar, we aim to provide you with the best Yorkshire hospitality from our hearts. We hope you’ll fall in love with this stunning part of Yorkshire. Walking and cycling on the Moors, visiting the coast and of course majestic Castle Howard are all sublime. In town our guests love learning new skills at Malton Cookery School, there’s the amazing local produce, traditional food shops and the very popular Talbot Yard Food Court opposite! We hope you will enjoy visiting the Talbot Hotel and Malton - Yorkshire’s award winning food town!
