Found a special place today well into Wykeham Forest with a super view across Troutsdale. Only 30 minutes from the cottage. Marked as the Raptor viewpoint. Didn't actually see any raptors there today, but the weather maybe wasn't quite right?
Just realised I was looking for the wrong sort of raptor!!😏
Hope to see some of you soon at 4 Wellgarth, Swinton, Malton.

Still lots of availability for the cottage. Lots of lovely places within easy driving distance and the petrol in Malton is priced very reasonably!
You can be at the coast in 45 minutes, North Yorkshire Moors in 15 minutes and York has good train links or Park and Ride.

Interesting way to spend an hour in sunny Scarborough- watching the dredger in the mouth of the harbour.
Still a cold easterly wind, but the sunshine is glorious.

Opening soon, April 7th. Chapel Kitchen at the Wesley Centre, Saville Street, Malton.
Lovely environment, peaceful, light and airy and fully accessible.
Just had the pleasure of a taster session and how refreshing, healthy freshly cooked and prepared food. Very unique setting.

Some late afternoon sunshine. What a bonus. Cottage nearly ready for the new season. Good value for money, central location for North Yorkshire and friendly folk all around.
