The reason Pheasant's Roost got its name!These guys were sitting on the fence outside our other property Rose Cottage yesterday. Jim loves taking our grand daughter out to fed them when she's here. Such beautiful creatures 😍

Rose Cottage sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms, and has a hot tub. Up to 2 dogs are very welcome - the garden is fully fenced and has a bbq and furniture. We are in a perfect location for touring the North Yorkshire Moors and Whitby, York and the east coast. The cottage looks out onto farmland. Just 10 minutes walk we have a dog friendly pub and lots of off the road walks almost from the door. Check out our 5 ⭐ reviews on Google!

Meet Christine. I think she was misnamed, she should definitely have been called Christmas. She LOVES it. Her house is decorated inside and out, and she's been out with our Lions Club collecting donations with the Santa's Sleigh for several nights. And now she's decorated Rose Cottage too, it's her favourite job. Thank you Christine 🎅🎄🎅🎄

I'm completely biased of course but we moved to North Yorkshire over 20 years ago and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. There are some beautiful spots around here. My friend and I walked around Thornton Le Dale a few weeks ago. Just 20 mins away.
