20 years ago today I signed forms and wrote out cheques to become Landlord of The New Globe Inn, under my then BRM Dave Rowland. Several BRMs later and I got Jonathan Blackmore who got me the big refurbishment that changed the whole identity of the pub for the better. Many thanks to all my BRMs even the sh*te ones but my fave has to be Hutchy Paul Hutchinson , cheers for everything you do for me it really is appreciated 👏. What a 20 years its been !! Smoking ban, recession after recession, Covid !! We got through all of them, just. But I couldn't of done it without team Globe, Paul Murton been with me since day one , Dave aka Teresa Thurston, Sarah Cook, Amanda Render Kerri Umpleby, Tara England, Derek Emmerson, ollie darley Katy Turnbull DJ Wayne Konya and anyone ive forgotten 😂😂 massive thankyou to all that have worked for me over the years.
But most of all a massive thankyou to our awesome customers. This weekend we have a band Saturday and a band Sunday with a BBQ in the afternoon and our usual resident DJ friday and Saturday night, kids welcome till 7. Be great to see some old faces and have a catch up

Well its my 20th Anniversary of been landlord of The New Globe. So think a knees up is in order.
Starting Friday with our resident DJ Wayne Konya from 8pm , Saturday we have a new band Echos playing in the beer garden from 3pm then DJ Wayne till close , Sunday another new band, again in the beer garden Just another Jester from 3pm then DJ Wayne till close. A BBQ will be taking place on Saturday and Sunday afternoon .
So come along ,chat about the good ole days and celebrate with us . Children welcome under parent supervision till 7pm .
