Thanks to Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service for their help over the weekend.

Sherwood Pines remains open and the situation under control. The fire was in the wider forest, away from any of our recreation facilities.

With the heatwave showing no sign of easing, we’re asking everyone visiting, to take extra care. Please help us to protect our countryside and woodlands during these ongoing dry conditions;

Do not light fires
Do not use disposable barbecues
Take litter home with you
Extinguish and dispose of ci******es responsibly

These simple actions can help reduce the risk of further fires. Thanks for your support.

Good morning ☀️😊

It’s been awhile, so I thought I’d just check in and let you know that we’re still here!

I’m just out with Bonnie enjoying our beautiful countryside (and yes, I’m embracing the grey! And loving the freedom!)

We’ve had a very busy few weeks at home, having our old Heating system taken out a new one install installed! It’s been emotional 😂 and very very messy….

Thank you to our wonderful Guests for putting up with us 😊
