This beautiful property Edwinstowe Hall, constructed in 1701 for the First Earl of Scarborough. The property is a stone’s throw from Sherwood Forest and neighbours Saint Mary's Church, where legend has it Robin Hood and Maid Marion were married.

🐎Gathering of the North: TOMORROW AT SHERWOOD FOREST🐎

Tomorrow we welcome back the Gathering of the North! Here is some key information if you are visiting the forest over the Bank Holiday weekend.

📆When is it?
Saturday 23rd – Monday 26th May.

⏰What time is it on?
The event runs 9:30am-5pm. Car parks open from 9am.

💰How much is it?
£15 per car. £12 for RSPB Members. Staff will be manning the car park and taking payments. Please bring cash AND card. It will be busy, but please have patience with our staff. We will get you parked as soon as possible.

👣What if I just want to come for a walk?
The same parking charge applies to all visitors over the Bank Holiday. Even if you just wish to enjoy the forest, you will still have access to the event due to the open nature of the site.

🚘Is there accessible parking?
Yes. There is an accessible car park next to the Visitor Centre with a limited number of spaces. Parking can be paid for in the shop if you park here. Further accessible parking is available in our main car park, though there is a longer walk to the event from here.

ℹ Where do I find information on the day?
Find the information tent on the events green: The Toadstool Tavern between the play area and the jousting arena.

Creating magical little memories for children ✨🎈

This week, we decorated the lodge as a birthday surprise for a very special little girl 🥳💖

As parents ourselves, we know it’s often the little touches that children remember most- balloons waiting on arrival, birthday decorations, and that extra bit of excitement when they walk through the door.

We love helping families make their trips feel extra special and memorable, whether it’s a birthday celebration, a family getaway, or just a well-earned break together ❤️
