If there was ever a fictional day trip you’d actually want to go on, surely it has to be the Jolly Boys’ Outing!
It remains one of the very best Only Fools and Horses episodes for me. The coach journey alone gives us so many brilliant moments, but once the whole gang actually gets to Margate it just gets better.
Del, Rodney, Trigger, Boycie, Mike, Denzil, Mickey Pearce and the rest of them all together for one day out gave us an episode with a lot of laughs.
And that’s probably why so many fans still say they’d love to have been on that coach with them.
Forget Dubai, the Maldives or some luxury resort — give us a seat on the Jolly Boys’ coach, a few drinks, a trip on the rides and a night out in Margate with this lot 😂
