There are plenty of reasons to visit Goldstone this week:

🌸 Wednesday 9th September, 12 noon–5pm
Explore our five-acre garden during our final National Garden Scheme Open Day of the Season. 12-5pm. £9 per person. Children are free.

🍂 Thursday 10th September
Our Taste of Autumn event celebrates the seasonal flavours of Goldstone’s kitchen garden.

🌿 Friday 11th September, 11am
Join our complimentary Friday Garden Tour and discover more about the planting, history and development of the gardens. Free of charge but booking onto this is essential.

You can also join us throughout the week for lunch, afternoon tea, dinner or a relaxing drink in our peaceful Shropshire surroundings.

🌿 Open Garden for the National Garden Scheme 🌿

Join us at Goldstone next Wednesday 9th September, when our five-acre gardens will be open in support of the National Garden Scheme.

We will also be joined by the Shropshire Master Composters, who will be sharing practical advice on successful home composting, reducing garden waste and creating nutrient-rich compost for your garden. Whether you are new to composting or would like help improving your existing compost, do come along and have a chat with their knowledgeable volunteers.

A new month arrives at Goldstone, bringing softer light, seasonal produce from the kitchen garden and, later on, the first gentle signs of autumn across the estate.

🍽You can also join us throughout the month for breakfast, lunch from our garden menu, afternoon tea, dinner or a leisurely Sunday lunch, with seasonal ingredients from our one-acre kitchen garden taking pride of place.

Goodbye, August! 🌞🌻

What a glorious month it has been at Goldstone, filled with (mainly) summer sunshine, colourful gardens, refreshing cocktails and delicious seasonal produce.

From our National Garden Scheme opening and summer pruning workshop to the Taste of Late Summer event, we have loved welcoming so many visitors. The gardens have continued to flourish, with stunning borders, fragrant florals and our magnificent Campsis radicans putting on a wonderful display on the rose terrace.

Thank you to everyone who visited, stayed, dined or joined us for an event.

Now, we look forward to all that September will bring. 🥒🌽🥬
