Please note, the usual road to the Racecourse (Legsby Road) from Market Rasen town centre is closed between Willingham Road and The Ridings.

If you’re travelling in a vehicle to take part or to volunteer tomorrow, you’ll need to go via Tesco / Beechers Way / The Ridings and then join Legsby Road to approach the Racecourse as usual.

If you’re travelling on foot / a bike, you should be able to get through to the Racecourse as usual without diverting.

Thanks again and see you tomorrow!

Thanks also to Chester Drawers for annotating the map 🗺️ below 🙂

☔ On this rainy day, we’re bringing some good news!

Lincoln’s iconic Steep Hill has been named Britain’s prettiest street by The Telegraph🌟

Steep Hill first became used by the residents of Lincoln when the city was called Lindum Colonia and the Roman inhabitants decided to expand the settlement down the hill!

Today, this cobbled climb is full of character, from independent shops and cosy cafés to incredible historic landmarks.

A familiar sight in our skies, the Spitfire is celebrating 90 years since its first flight✈️✨

To mark the milestone, a special UK air tour has taken to the skies. Visiting historic locations across the country, the Spitfire will be visiting places that have played a significant role during its 90 years, including RAF Coningsby for its first flight earlier in April.

Ending in Southampton tomorrow, if the Spitfire’s tour has sparked your interest, there couldn’t be a better time to step back in time and uncover Lincolnshire’s deep-rooted aviation heritage.

Lincolnshire is packed with incredible stories and places to explore:

🛩️ BBMF Visitor Centre, Coningsby

🏛️ International Bomber Command Centre, Lincoln

🌿 Woodhall Spa’s Cottage Museum and Petwood Hotel

🎓 Cranwell Aviation Heritage Museum
