JOIN OUR TEAM!
The kitchen porter is the backbone of the kitchen crew and we are looking for someone to join us from March to September 2026. Ideally, you would work 4 or 5 shifts a week, but we are happy to consider splitting the role into 2 part-time jobs; for a part-time employee, there is the opportunity to pick up extra work in the academic breaks.
We are also looking for a KP for the weekends (1 or 2 shifts) and school holidays, starting May 2026 (or as close as possible) and running at least until the end of September.
These are roles for people who are organised, energetic and who will become an integral part of our operation.
Experience is not necessary - this is a great starter role! If you've got experience, that's good too. You will have an opportunity to learn and to find your strengths. Our kitchen porters tend to stay with us for several years and get involved in other parts of the operation, such as food prep and baking and taking care of the grounds.
Duties to include:
To undertake cleaning and washing up
To promote excellent standards of safety and cleanliness
To support the Front Of House crew to deliver food and drink, and to clear the dining areas
To assist with food preparation, with training and support
To work in a structured way
To follow setting up and closing down procedures
PAY
We'll pay you the best that we can afford, and that will be determined to some extent by your skills and experience.
GETTING TO US
We're one mile outside the village of Marloes and someone with their own transport is preferred. The Fflecsi buses from Haverfordwest and Milford Haven (and probably some other places) will drop you at the top of our track!
