Hereβs what we think would make the perfect long weekend at Harrington Cottage:
Friday:
Arrive, unpack and tuck into the complimentary Welcome Hamper before a late afternoon dog walk on our wonderful beach π π
Head across the road to our favourite, for one of their legendary sharing platters or a cheeky cheese board, and it would be rude not to indulge in a cocktail or two. π§ πΉπΉ
Return to Harrington Cottage, dive into the seriously comfy Super King bed, Netflix on the large screen SMART TV and drift off to sleep feeling happy and content. π π΄
Saturday:
Up with the larks and hit the beach to watch one of our amazing sunrises and spot dolphins just off the shoreline π
π¬.
Perhaps youβll join the sea swimmers for some cold water therapy and then warm up on the beach at π π₯
On your way back to the cottage call at to sample the best coffee in town and pop into by the sea to pick up some bakes βοΈ π₯ π°
After a re fuel wander around our lovely village, spoil yourself with some retail therapy at one of the gorgeous independent shops we are so lucky to have and admire the beautiful flowers and foliage in the area courtesy of Marske in bloom ποΈ πΊ
On the evening, a hop, skip and jump away is , a family run restaurant where you can experience home cooked Mediterranean food.
Then literally 21 steps will bring you back to Harrington Cottage for another restful nights sleep. π΄ π‘
Sunday:
Enjoy a long lie in and then take a stroll along the beach to Saltburn.
Watch the surfers from the pier, indulge in fish and chips on the prom and pop into for a well deserved treat. π π π
If you fancy a Sunday dinner weβd recommend &rbistro, great food, gorgeous place and friendly staff. π
Then head up to Errington Woods for an afternoon power walk to burn off all those calories! π²
Movie night in the snug would be the perfect end to a busy day unless you have the energy to head back to the beach to watch the sunset π
Monday:
You canβt leave without one last trip to the beach; the jewel in our crown. Feel the sand between your toes and the sea air in your heart. Have you ever been so happy and content? Have you ever seen your dog so happy and content?!! πΆ
Until next timeβ¦.
